Lakepoint Wine Bar

A refined, lakeside space designed to inspire connection, conversation, and community.

Lakepoint Wine Bar – Bella Vista, AR

Client: Bella Vista Property Owners Association (POA)

As part of the larger Lakepoint Restaurant redevelopment overlooking Loch Lomond, the wine bar was envisioned as a cozy, elevated space offering Bella Vista residents a new kind of gathering experience. Designed by Paul Heck, the wine bar creates an intimate environment for tastings, casual socializing, and private events — all within a refined lakeside setting.

The space accommodates +25 guests indoors, with an additional 20 seats on a covered patio that opens toward lake views. The design blends natural materials with upscale detailing to strike a balance between comfort and sophistication. Rich textures, warm lighting, and carefully selected finishes contribute to an atmosphere that invites guests to slow down and connect.

In keeping with the Bella Vista POA’s vision, the wine bar was designed not just as a commercial venue, but as a community space — one that encourages interaction, cultivates conversation, and brings people together over shared tastes and experiences.

Its integration into the overall restaurant and event center allows the wine bar to function as both a standalone space and a supporting element for larger gatherings. Despite the constraints of the original building and a limited renovation budget, Paul Heck delivered a thoughtful and compelling design that reactivates the site and enhances the lakeside experience.

This is restaurant design that inspires community gathering — quiet, welcoming, and full of intention.
